Where is Veliki Bukovec?
Veliki Bukovec is a small town with 600 inhabitants located in the very east of Varaždin County on three rivers: Drava, Bednja and Plitvice. It is only ten kilometers away from Ludbreg, the famous Croatian pilgrimage site to the Precious Blood of Christ and which, according to legend, is called the Center of the World. Veliki Bukovec is adorned with hardworking people who have worked from dawn to dusk since ancient times and carefully nurture and preserve their tradition.
